I love this show. I can see why some people would be creeped out, but I guess I just have a very stretchy imagination, talking penis demon aside.
I must say, I agree with you. Adventure Time is creepy beyond repair. I haven’t seen much, yet caught the last 4 minutes of the Lumpy episode the other day (I don’t know the name but Jake turns Lumpy or something like that) and was like “Why does this exist? Am I missing something? Do I need to be high to understand this?” Then I remembered, it’s on Cartoon Network.
oh, well.
that is a good cause for concern…
These are great episodes to talk about, but there’s even more! You missed the fact that the entire show is post apocalyptic and that you see an alternate universe in which Jake dies and Ice king had saved the world but then Fin causes it and turns into Ice king. There’s an episode where Fin lives a whole life in a pillow world and then dies and wakes up back in normal life having forgotten everything. There another episode where you see a candy people mental asylum, and another where Ice King sends a porn video virus to Fin and Jake that eat up the whole world. Then there’s the one where a deer with hands traps everyone in the candy kingdom and Jake was delusional that everyone had been hiding to surprise him for his birthday for 6 months… And the one where you find out Ice King is the other last human but that he slowly went crazy from the magic of the crown and he was friends with Marline… Maybe I should write and article too! Haha
Oh yeah, a whole list could be made about just the newest season, where just about all the episodes you mentioned are from haha. The deer episode was actually number six on my list but I ended up cutting it.
