Funny comic, buy what’s up withe the mooses eyes. And the gun, it’s a revolver, so the hammer will strike the bullet in the top of the revolving mechanism, but your barrel is drawn on the bottom, how is that bullet going to even shoot Locke or the Moose. Further more how cana moose tie a tie, it’s complicated enough tying it with a opposable thumb, but a moose has a.. Im not sure but it can’t be easy.
Anywho, maybe I’m thinking too far into it, but a good comic none the less
Also I hate moose. I will go out of my way to kill a moose in a video game. Even if I have to stop attacking what im attacking to kill the wandering moose. This led to a lot of problems in Age of Conan, but at least those moose were dead.
Actually, the revolver is real. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mateba_Autorevolver The logic behind the revolver is that it is a more balanced gun as whole because the recoil directs through the center of the weapon and in direct line with the shooter’s arm. Although the range is nerfed, it’s accuracy is balanced and is easier to fire than most standard revolvers. themoaryouknow.jpeg
while your post is valid, i must point out the hammer on the autorevolver is alligned with the bottom chamber, making it slightly hidden, while ences is quite obviously alligned with the top chamber, thereby rendering your entire argument invalid.
And here you would be wrong. Vash’s gun has the hammer facing the 6 o’ Clock bullet chamber, but the thumb tab of the hammer is above the 12 o’ Clock chamber. This is because you need it there to actually pull it back. Pic Related > http://images.wikia.com/trigun/images/2/2b/Vash1.jpg I hope this clears things up for you, Alf.
you realise the design of the gun makes pulling back the hammer unnecessary. Quoted from the wiki page You posted “The rearward motion of the upper assembly cocks the hammer, and the cylinder is rotated on the forward stroke”. essentially this means teh gun cocks itself when fired, meaning the hammer doesnt need to be cocked for the next shot.
You also realize that you are arguing the mechanics of a fictional gun. I’ve provided for you a sufficient amount of information that justifies the way Ence has drawn a cartoon gun artistically. You want to argue its mechanics? Take it up with Yashiro Nightow, or the manufacturer of the Metaba gun. Ence drew it correctly.
Thats one point explained, but what about that freakin moose, how did he tie that damn tie. I can’t tie a tie with human/slightly gorilla hands, how can a moose do it
Lulz.

Vash the stampede!
Hmm, never seen Trigun before. Still though, the logic behind it don’t make sense. Then again Comic 404 don’t need no logic

Ya know… the hammer is backwards so it will hit the bullet at the bottom.
Trigun reference FTW!
LOL
I lol’d hard
I got more enjoyment out of the arguement between locke and that other guy >_>
I’m afraid that moose misinterpreted “black tie only” a little bit too literally
