Pokemon Truths
Written by me and drawn by my (soon to be) wifey, this comic is pure goodness. I’m constantly urging her to start her own webcomic, or to at least draw more often. Her work is super awesome.
Why IS every self-destructing Pokemon round..?
Awsome. and the last pannel is so true, though i find quickly teetering down up down and mashing B helps sometimes.
I suppose they have to be round or else there would be a weird looking path of destruction that vaugely resembles a pokemon. and that would be slightly disturbing.
I wish I could draw lol well off to go and try and draw my storyboard for class…

i always find that saying/counting “one, two, three, CHA-CHING!” when the pokeball wiggles the first, second, and third times, then the stars pop out (respectivly) has a very good effect for me. worked on Entei and Raikou after about only 2 times each (after they were at 1hp, asleep, and confused… but thats beside the point)
I gotta try that one, hahaha.

its true that all pokemoin that learn self destruct are round their are some that learn explosion(basically the beefed up version of self destruct) that aernt round like typhlosion
You can TEACH some non-round Pokemon Self-Destruct and Explosion, but that’s just ridiculous
typhlosion isn’t a real pokémon.

At first, I found it odd that most of the comments were about catching pokemon, but then, I remembered the google description; “The webcomic about video games and the people who play them. There’s so much pwnage that it occupies a large area.”, and it did not seem nearly so weird.
I think it’s great that there’s so many people here that are well-versed in the ways of Pokemon.
I don’t know if someone pointed this out already, but there are a wide variety of Pokemon capable of learning selfdestruct who are not round; unless of course you mean by leveling up.
That’s why they gave you that master ball, doof! Mewtwo!
Yeah, I always save my Master Ball for someone like Mewtwo, but then I still gotta catch all the other legendaries the old-fashioned way. There’d be times that I’d use up EVERY single one of my Poke Balls on a legendary, and still not catch it. Cursed Moltres.
Got here from stumbleupon, just had to correct, the trick is up+B, not down+B. And it usually works for me, atleast in the red/blue versions.
But yeah, I do it out of habbit, it probably doesn’t work. All I know is that I never needed to use a masterball in any of the pokemon games.

There’s so many crazy cheats and tricks, especially in the Red and Blue days, it’s ridiculous. Rotate the d-pad like crazy, use the item finder on the secret truck and get Mew, and so on. None of ’em ever worked except for missingno. Haha, those were the days.
Eevee can learn SelfDestruct.

it’s Up+B when you hear the ball fly out of your hand, and Down+B when it opens. That’s how I learned it, anyway.
I think it’s the most fun trying to catch Mewtwo with a Pokeball. My best is 8. 🙂
Oh, and there is actually a trick to getting Mew. Look it up.
My wife and I both have one. He’s a cute little guy.

Don’t know what y’all are talkin’ about, the trick all along was to press and hold A the moment the ball closed around the Pokémon! At least that’s what I used to use. Never was sure if it did anything or not, but I caught Mewtwo with Pokéballs, even on the first try, before with this “technique”.

BALTOY CAN LEARN SELFTDESTRUCT! Another thing that is true is that Nurse Joy wants you pokemon to faint… she says “Hope to see you soon!”
Yeah, her attitude is definitely a little disconcerting O_o
