It’s been such a long time~~~By Locke on June 4th, 2010
I’ve been spending the past week prepping to move, something I’ve been both looking forward to and dreading at the same time. It was hard to move into this place, and now I find myself with a mixed feeling of both excitement and homesickness. You see, I came here two summers ago, and I’ve experienced many things, hardship and heartbreak, joy and success, all under this roof. Its just kinda hard to let go. I can’t bring myself not to post about this, but I discovered a project that’s pretty cool. Osu!, a fan-based project based on the popular Elite Beat Agents, and is named after the original Japanese game, is a pretty neat game. All the beatmaps are user made of course, but some of them are nothing short of awesome. Just search “Don’t Stop Me Now Phoenix Wright” and click the first link, it’s amazing. I’m by no means the best EBA player, but when it came out I played it constantly. Ence and I have a friend who is probably the only person on the planet to have an EBA related injury. A DS Stylus is never supposed to draw blood, but it did. One of the best things about this map is that it’s got an actual failure/success story path system like all real EBA tracks. Depending on how well you are doing, there will be differences in how it plays out. It’s pretty neat. I hope you all are enjoying the oncoming summer weather, I know that I’ll appreciate some sun. -Locke |
