April Fools was actually yesterday, but yeah.
Pokemon Heartgold is still my main focus these days. My current lineup is Typhlosion, Dragonair, Magnemite, Starmie, Gengar, and Pidgeot. As soon as Dragonair evolves, I can teach him fly and switch out Pidgeot for someone else. I have no idea who though. I’m trying to think of what my party is missing, and all I can think of is ice, ground, and fighting.

Mamoswine is ground and ice; it could cover two of your bases. Or, you could go with just an HP tank like Milktank to give you time to revive fallen Pokemon if your party get owned. (It happens; I forgot the elite four levels up after you defeat the Kanto gyms)
Magnezone has saved me multiple times by being a damage sponge. I seriously considered Mamoswine, but I ended up filling my last spot with Lucario, mostly because he’s pretty cool and he’s good at killing those dark types. I also ended up teaching Starmie Ice Beam and Dragonite Earthquake. So far it’s working out pretty good. I beat Red and his level 80 Pokemon while all of mine were still at 60 : )
