300 (and 4) comics!By Locke on October 15th, 2010
Hey guys, We love hearing from you guys, so tell us via comment, what’s your favorite Massive Pwnage moment, and why? League of Legends was something I had to work Ence into getting back into. He, Tikara and I have been coaching a few of our friends in LoL Combat strategy and have had some great games together. When we heard about Dota2 and IceFrog’s deceptive, dirty business, we weren’t too surprised. Well, at least Ence wasn’t. I read these posts with a kind of hungry wanting. We don’t think Dota2 will affect the MOBA community as harshly as some people think. What people don’t tend to realize is that Dota2 is not really a sequel since it’s just Dota with a facelift. Albeit its quite a facelift, its hard to say whether or not Valve realizes that the MOBA community is a diverse beast. TF2 had a learning curve, but I’d say DOTA is pretty hardcore. Teaching LoL is difficult enough, but Dota punishes mistakes quite harshly, and is extremely competitive. I think the learning curve will prove too hard for most newcomers to the genre. If you guys are ever up for a 5v5, add summoner name MPLocke. -Locke |
training rookies is so much fun, i had one i was training that used kog during the free week, and i killed him 9 times with soraka because he kept screwing up.
Hey maybe you could give me a few tips. Ive been playing a little while but still havent really found the right champ for me. My name is w1ns70n, give me a message one of these days 🙂
I’ve been playing for a while (at least 100 games) and I still can’t find a champ I really love playing as. Locke is a really great teacher, but you have to be willing to listen. Sensei Locke has no patience for little nooblings that think they’re Rambo 😛
i can help teaching as well, my user is shukaku15. i tend to roll tanks and support.
