I’ve done something dangerous. I set up my old Playstation 2 and began replaying Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for the time in what must be at least twelve or thirteen years.
I don’t know how much longer I will survive.
The first Lunar is one of my all-time favorite games. It got me hooked on RPGs. I’ve beaten it over a half dozen times on three different platforms. It’s pretty much the definition of nostalgia for me. The second game is also amazing, but I think I’ve only beaten it twice. Three times? That will soon be remedied.

The greatest nostalgia for me is playing either Donkey Kong Country or Donkey Kong Country 2. I grew up playing them nonstop only to make it to the second stage after what seemed like a month, and could never beat it. Then i got older and played it again, remembering everything, and was able to beat the entire game in about 4-5 hours. I still go back and play them over several hundred times each year, and its always worth it.
Silent Hill 2 was the first game I truly loved. I played it in the dark, alone, in my grandparents creaky house in the woods.
I can never play it again with the proper ambiance 🙁
Persona 4. It is the only retail game for the Vita I like, that I know of. But it alone takes up more of my time than everything else combined.
I *WILL* get that platinum trophy. No matter how many of you total strangers I have to *MISPLACE* in the ocean.
Why do I have to misplace anyone in anything? TO MAKE MY POINT EVEN MAKIER.
