I Can Show you the World
Guild Wars 2 is a game where you gain xp by looking at waterfalls. It’s pretty awesome because in order to get to the vantage point from which to view the waterfall, called a “vista,” you typically have to do some platforming. It’s actually a lot of fun trying to figure out how to get on top of that building or mountain.
Whoah, that’s an awesome feature i wasn’t aware of =o is the exp good enough to compete with grinding?
Yeah, most of your experience will come from Events ( small missions done by groups throughout the world ), crafting discovery, and world map completion.
Yup, that just sums up my GW 2 gameplay. Wander aimlessly, buy cultural armor and try to survive in main storyline being 5 levels lower than monsters.
Yeah, no one levels by grinding kills. The XP that way is pretty awful.
Those view points are a little annoying to me.
I think I’m the only one who kind of likes fighting monsters in GW2.
I mean, when you don’t have to worry about mana, spamming skills and combos is awesome.
What level are ya, Ence? :>
Oh, the combat is definitely the highlight of the game. I have an Elementalist at 40 and a Guardian at 30
Elementalists are pretty tough to use, don’t you think? I have one too, but I haven’t used him much. I mean, they have 4 times more weapon skills than other classes.
Which means that, along with the utility spells, they also use 4 elements with 5 skills in each weapon. That’s 40 different weapon skills that can be used in combat, right?
Yeah, you have to work a lot harder to keep yourself alive, but that’s how mage classes usually are. Though, since there aren’t true tanks and healers, the second I get aggro in a dungeon I explode.
