Mops are much heavier and unwieldy compared to a broom. They’re a lot harder to swing around.

I must disagree with this, mops are far superior in most ways. (Especially if your actually cleaning with it) but if your fighting people the mop still wins cause you can catch peoples weapons/arms with it or trip their legs out from underneath them.
