my bet is that Ence is ageless. something along the lines of when they went looking for the cool orb way long ago, the radiation of eternity wore of on Ence a little.
He is older than I am. My theory was that he unearthed an ancient artifact of power that stole a few years of his life in exchange for its service. He has since misplaced the artifact.
This was totally not a conversation me Mordor and Risen had, and I do not feel honored that a question we didn’t ask was not made into a comic, wait, what?
I was asked this question recently and this was, more or less, my actual response.
