Time travel is easy. Everyone knows that all you have to do is fly around the Earth really, really fast. Flying around the sun works too. Actually, spinning around just about anything will do the trick.

If you use the time machine to go back in time to warn yourself not to build it, won’t it cancel your future existence, therefore preventing you from going back in time and warning yourself not to build it and therefore resulting in you building the machine after all and therefore…
It’d be if time was one line. Now, it’s believed time is a huge amount of parallel worlds, closest ones being similiar, further ones not. If you warned yourself not to build time machine, you’d get to world parallel from the world you came from.
You can spin around just about anything, but it has to be near the speed of light. It also helps if the thing you’re spinning around is very massive, because mass affects gravity, and gravity affects time. Or something like that. Finally, of course it helps if the ship you’re in is Klingon green. Something about the beds being flat sheets of steel.
*spins around the table really fast*
