I usually cook my ramen with cheese and butter to make cheesy noodles. I haven’t tried this method of combining cooked and uncooked ramen yet. Sounds like it might work? Maybe? Someone try it.

I have for years. It is delicious, though slightly disconcerting. You expect it to be soft once you start chewing the soft noodles, and suddenly there’s these hard bits. Once you get used to it though, there’s no going back
In college, one of my friends had a roommate from Texas who would cook the noodles plain, drain the water, and then sprinkle the flavor packet directly on the noodles. He said everyone he knew did it that way, so we referred to it as “Texas-style ramen”.
Later, my friend tried sprinkling the packet directly on an uncooked brick of ramen and eating it. He dubbed it, “Hardcore Texas-style ramen.” Never tried it myself…
Cook the noodles like normal, then stir-fry some chicken, bell peppers, water chestnuts and a sauce (like panda express king poa sauce, available in nearly every grocer) and add in the noodles. Healthier and tastier than ramen, makes more servings and overall is fairly low cost.
