The Ashes of Al’ar ruins guilds. They did raise the drop rate at one point, though, so that was nice of them.

Haha, yeah, I got that last year.
We were running that raid for the first time, for the Achievement.
So, we are in there the FIRST time, that sucker actually DROPS and I roll it with 1 better than half my guild, I learned a few new curses that day 😛
I’ve never gotten any neat mounts, I spend that time on transmog gear instead. Like running heroic Mana Tombs ten times for the shaman wolf hat. Only took one go to get Gorehowl from Karazhan, so that was kinda lucky. I did do a TON of Baron runs back in the day, though. Never saw the deathcharger drop until very recently, when my wife got it on her fifth run >:(
