The right party will make or break D&D night.
I always wanted to play D&D when I was a kid but I could never find it anywhere. I don’t think I actually looked any further than Barnes and Noble, though. It wasn’t like how it is now. Now you can find an entire bookcase dedicated to 4th Edition. Then again, even if I did get ahold of some materials, I probably wouldn’t have known what to do with it all. I’d probably just read the books over and over again but never be able to convince my brothers to play it with me.
What could have been!
Yea.. i was like that for a long time. Then it got to about junior year of highschool and was invited to join a group with some friends. Now everywhere i look theres a ton of people looking to run D&D somewhere at any time of day or night, any day of the week.
Yeah I knew zero people who played it in high school, now it’s EVERYWHERE. Crazy!
Damn kids.
