The other team scored 8 points, right? A touchdown is seven, so how’d they get eight? Kicking it through the score point goal is three, right?

I didn’t watch the game, but if they opted for a 2-point conversion instead of just the extra point kick after the touchdown, that would give them 8. A touchdown itself is only 6 points.
Yeah, they went for the 2 point conversion. Basically ran it into the end zone instead of kicking for 1 point. They were so far behind at the point I guess they felt they needed everything they could get, but if they were failed they were doomed anyway. It was pretty embarrassing, and I don’t even watch football (I just came for the commercials).
