It’s a little unfortunate that there is no option for diplomacy in the lands of Skyrim. You’d think that you’d be able to convice people that maybe fighting a firebreathing man wearing armor made out of dragon bones isn’t a very good idea.

I love doing that to people though… If diplomacy was an option, there would be less pushing people through windows and buildings. Although diplomacy would be an amazing option to add to the Elder Scrolls series for a lot more quests. That, and the ability to join nearly any faction in the game. I would have loved to join the Forsworn and learn about their inner workings.
Honestly, it could be its own skill, or it could just be worked into speech as opposed to speech just being a money saver skill.
I would LOVE that kind of option. I love to place my self in my characters shoes and just lose myself. Unfortunately I find myself feeling bad about slaughtering thousands of petty bandits like I’m on some genocidal mission.
