“Or say goodbye to his loved ones.”
World of Warcraft is a game that I will play for the rest of my life. I might take breaks of years at a time, but I’ll never truly be free. I’ve played plenty of other MMOs, I absolutely love Guild Wars 2, but there’s just something about WoW. It has its hooks in me and I am forever doomed.

even after vowing to never return, the past eventually catches up to you… also seems a shame to just let your character fade away after so many hours put into it

My husband and I left WoW years ago, sick of the crappy raiding… we picked up Rift again, though, now that it’s free-to-play, and it’s much better than it was before, less lag and such. I highly recommend it!
I keep telling myself im done with WoW, then they advertise the next expansion and it has SOMETHING i’ve wanted in WoW for years, so I get it and play for another few months and quit again. Its a vicious cycle. I recently got back into it because I convinced a friend to let me recruit him so now i can quickly level another few characters.
I think everyone has got a game like this, for me it’s Mabinogi >,=I

You as well, Kael? I just got back into Mabi because of Christmas. It keeps drawing me back as well. I’m addicted to leveling Spirit Weapons.

Does it have better raiding? Better than the Heigan Dance?!?! I might give it a shot.
