Gritty Days and Sultry NightsBy Locke on June 1st, 2012
Now that I’m done with College, *party blower*, I can focus on the important stuff, like being lazy! I joke, I joke. What does this mean for you guys? Well, hopefully more updates. Ence and I have been working on new stuff for you guys, but it’s been held pretty close to the vest for a while. Once we get closer to developing some solid material, we’ll push out some more information on it. Ence and I have started up LA Noire, and boy is it good. Both of us really love the Phoenix Wright series, and when we heard about LA Noire, we decided to add it to the list of things we need to complete as a team. The first thing that stood out to me was how much the game used atmosphere in it’s storytelling. It places so much emphasis in how people act… it’s like playing a Norman Rockwell painting. I have a feeling I’m really going to enjoy this game. We had some trouble driving around; I’m always terrible when it comes to the handling of cars in Rockstar games, but it’s more human error than anything. I can’t help but think we sound like we’re in a buddy cop film bickering over small stuff while we play. I’m looking at the DnD Next Playtest materials as we speak! I hope I can arrange a playtest of this with Ence and Tika soon, I really want to see just how the system holds up. If you guys want to check out the new system, you should register and check it out! This is where the fun starts. -Locke |
