You know, I’ve never beaten a Final Fantasy Tactics game. I’ll get completely sucked in and play ’em almost constantly until I reach the thirty or forty hour mark and then just completely lose steam. And here’s another of my highly interesting anecdotes concerning tactical grid-based games: I’ve beaten every Fire Emblem game I’ve played.
Locke wrote this comic for me almost two years ago. He’s a swell guy.

I agree with Acer here. No excuses! I didn’t play A1 and I think A2 was pretty meh considering the handheld limitations, but I probably dumped a few hundred hours into the first one. I still wish I had my PS1 and Tactics 🙁

What! You’ve never beaten Tactics? You make me want to cry :'( That is definitely on my top three favorite games, assuming it isn’t number one.
I actually haven’t even played the first one! Only Advance and Advance 2 on the DS. Maybe I need to schedule a return visit.
The first one is still the best one. It’s on PSN and iOS, so little excuse not to play it. 🙂
