Everything is so streamlined now. Duskwood is a good example of a zone that used to be horrible, but just moving some of the quest givers around and having a mount made it a really fun zone.
Speaking of fun quests, you thought Dragonblight was good? Well you haven’t quested through the new REDRIDGE. Redridge used to be boring as heck, and well, it still is a little bit at some points, but steamrolling through hordes of orcs with Rambo manning the turret is the best low level experience you can find.

I still hate leveling… even with all the changes. I can only get so far before going to LoL or Rift (if the Beta is open). Actually if Rift is open i play that nonstop. ^^
Haha, it’s so true. Looking back at WoW, it sucked. I wouldn’t go back. I don’t play anymore, I got kind of tired of WoW, plus its SOO expensive. I’m saving up for a laptop, so I can get DOTA 2, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and Rift.
The way I justify the monthly fee is to just say that 4 months comes out to $60, the cost of a console game. I can sink endless hours into WoW within those four months, more than any console game I might buy with that same $60. That way of thinking probably doesn’t work for everybody, but it works for me!
I say that you guys play EVE Online, and buy gamecards with the in game money.
Its true, the PLEX (Pilots Liscence Extension Card), allows you to buy 30 days of play for some money. Other players buy em from the EVE Online site, and you buy them from them!
Classic WoW was pretty good for what it was. By comparison it was pretty grueling to through some of the content, but when you finally got a horse it felt like an achievement and was so awesome. But it wasn’t friendly at all for alts when you went back and started doing it again. The current content is a heck of a lot more friendly, and the new quests make me actually want to level a few more toons. 🙂
Nooo…. you’re making me want to do Loremaster all over again…
