I’m gonna over-analyze the stuffing outta this, but here’s how I see it. You’ve got the fella with the OP Nerf gun, and you’ve Ence. The look of consternation on Ence’s face says that he did not expect this powerful of a gun, but he does recognize his adversary. It also would be likely that the first 5 shots were the 2 low misses, followed by the 3 pinning his hoodie to the wall. Then the gunman purposely missed to the top right of Ence’s noggin’, to scare Ence. To what end? We can only guess. What could Ence have that Locke wants?! (Could Ence have stolen something?!) My guess…? The crystal. >:-D [Do a comic about this, please!!!]
